Battle Outcome
The three sects set a trap for the infiltrators within the Spirit-Eye Tree cavern. However, the Heavenly Fiend Sect leader used a possession technique on the spy Wei-surnamed Elder, turning the tables. A fierce battle ensued. Du Dong, the Bai-surnamed Scholar, and the rescued Long-faced Elder managed to break through the blockade and escape with the Spirit-Eye Tree sap, while the possessed Wei-surnamed Elder held off the Fire Dragon Child.
