Che Qi Gong is an ancient demon Saint Ancestor whose soul is trapped within the Zhen Mo Suo (Demon Lock). He appears as an old man with a fierce expression. He made a deal with Han Li, offering the method to extract and refine Chaos Qi in exchange for half of the extracted Chaos Qi. He is in conflict with another trapped demon, Feng Xie, who claims to have a better extraction method.

Che Qigong is an ancient demonic Saint Ancestor imprisoned within the Demon Lock along with Feng Xie. He is cautious and scheming. Together with Feng Xie, he is trading the refinement method for Chaos Qi with Han Li piece by piece, planning to betray him after obtaining their share and escaping.

Che Qigong was formerly a Saint Ancestor level existence. He was imprisoned in the Demon Suppressing Lock with Feng Xie by Xue Guang. After escaping, they lay in wait, ambushed the severely wounded Xue Guang, destroyed his body, captured his Nascent Soul, and are now torturing him in a soul-refining cauldron to extract the locations of his secret treasure vaults.

What deal did Che Qigong make with Han Li?
He provided Han Li with a secret technique to disrupt control of the Purple Speech Cauldron (which was originally his) and a method to delay the Colored Light Pagoda using spatial artifacts. In return, Han Li must take him to the Yellow Spring Earth Fire to extract Chaos Qi (giving Che Qigong one-third), and promise to kill the Blood Light Sacred Ancestor if Han Li ever becomes powerful enough.
