He uses a spirit bird, the Cloud-Wing Bird, to spy on Han Li and possesses a powerful martial art called the Demonic Silver Hands. He is in communication with a mysterious consciousness named Yu Zitong residing in his mind.

Doctor Mo, originally named Mo Juren, was Han Li’s master and the former divine doctor of the Seven Mysteries Sect. Desiring immortality, he collaborated with Yu Zitong’s soul in an attempt to seize Han Li’s body through a soul transfer ritual, but failed and died. Before his death, he left a letter containing a transaction for Han Li: to protect his family in exchange for his daughter’s hand in marriage, half his wealth, and the ‘Warm Sun Jade’ needed to cure the poison he left in Han Li. He was a cunning and scheming individual who planned meticulously for various outcomes.
