Elder Ma is a Nascent Soul cultivator from the Vast Yang Sect. He fought against a tall, thin Mulan Great Upper Master within the Yellow Dragon Mountain formation. He later escaped with severe injuries (losing an arm) after Divine Master Zhong arrived and warned Han Li before fleeing again. He managed to return to the Heavenly South side.
