He forms temporary alliances of convenience, such as with Han Li and the demons, to escape the sealed space.

A Great Celestial Master from the Heavenly Grassland’s Saint Hall. He led the pursuit of Han Li into the Great Jin. His physical body was destroyed by a sneak attack from the Ten-thousand-year Corpse Bear while trapped in the Black Wind Flag’s space. His Nascent Soul now temporarily resides within his spirit beast, the Rhinoceros Peacock. To save himself and Lin Yinping, he offered Han Li the secret method for maturing Gold Devouring Beetles. Han Li saved him but planted a Scolding Thought True Lightning restriction in his Nascent Soul.
