Heavenly Tribulation

A catastrophic trial of lightning, wind, fire, and other elemental forces that cultivators must face at critical junctures, especially during major breakthroughs like advancing to the Grand Ascension stage or while already at that stage. Failure results in death or severe damage. The power and duration of the tribulation increase with each subsequent occurrence for a Grand Ascension cultivator.
