Ice Marrow Physique

A legendary spiritual constitution. It is undetectable at birth and only manifests signs at the age of nine during a yin hour. The first outbreak of its inherent cold poison is extremely violent, often fatal. If the host survives, the cold energy intensifies yearly, leading to certain death by ages 15-16 unless treated. Two main solutions exist: 1) A Body Integration cultivator expends immense effort over a century to suppress the poison and help the host adapt, eventually allowing the cold energy to transform into the powerful ‘Ice Marrow Cold Soul’ supernatural ability. 2) Using rare Yang-attribute elixirs to forcibly neutralize the physique, but this severely damages or destroys the host’s spiritual roots.
