Mysterious Immortal (Xuanxian)

A type of immortal in the Immortal Realm who follows an alternative cultivation path. They typically do not cultivate immortal energy or true essence but instead focus fanatically on tempering their physical bodies. They are also known as ‘Refinement Immortals’ (Lianxian). They are significantly more powerful in combat than ordinary immortals of the same rank at lower levels, but their cultivation becomes extremely difficult at mid-to-high immortal realms, making them rare.
