Silver Tide Insect

A ferocious insect comparable to the legendary Gold Devouring Beetles (噬金虫). They move in massive silver swarms (tides) that devour everything. They have hard bodies, sharp mandibles, and forelimbs. They possess a strange ability to track prey over long distances. Some higher-level individuals may harbor a human-faced insect元神 (primordial spirit).
